- Ethnic Studies 11AC
Upper Division (9 courses)
- Ethnic Studies 101A or Ethnic Studies 101B
- One course from: Asian American and Asian Diaspora Studies, Chicano Studies, or Ethnic Studies
- Completion of six elective courses from Native American Studies 100, 101, 102, 105, 120, 120AC, 145, 149, 150, 151, C152, 158, 173AC, 175, 176, 177, 178, 178AC, 179, 190 (Note: one approved Native American Studies related elective course maybe taken from another department)

Honors Program
The Native American Studies Program provides a program leading to the B.A. degree with honors. A student must have senior standing; a 3.5 GPA overall; and 3.5 GPA in the major. To complete the degree with honors the student will be required to undertake a 6-unit research project (NATAMST H195A & H195B) and will be graded according to standards determined by the faculty advisor as being of honors quality.
Minor Requirements
– All courses taken for the Native American Studies Minor must be taken for a letter grade
– An overall GPA of 2.0 is required for all courses applied to the minor program
– At least three of the courses must be completed at U.C. Berkeley
– Only one course can be used to overlap between major(s) and minor requirements
