Lok Siu Promoted to Full Professor!

It is with great joy that Ethnic Studies announces that Lok Siu has been promoted to the rank of Professor! One of the foremost scholars of Asian diaspora studies, Lok has broken new ground in linking hemispheric and transpacific approaches to the study of Asian migration. She is a highly regarded teacher and mentor–including recently receiving a mentorship award from the Graduate Assembly. She has been an exemplary campus citizen, taking leadership roles in the AAADS Program, the Ethnic Studies Department, the Asian American Research Center, and the Academic Senate.
