The library will be hosting its first ever open house! All ES faculty, lecturers, staff, and students are invited to see our collections, our new exhibit, and the results of a renovation to improve our special collections space, and to meet our new librarian, Melissa Stoner. Sheng-Kee Bakery Cafe is catering the event. Also, Native American Studies Librarian Melissa Stoner has been selected to attend the Digital Native American Studies Project to be held October 13-16, 2016, at Northern Arizona University, Flagstaff, AZ. All her expenses were paid by the project for her to attend. From the project's description: "These workshops seek to pay attention to the ways in which digital objects, practices, and methods function within Native communities and through Native American Studies scholarship.”
